Melbourne Youth Support Services

Frontyard Integrated Youth Services work together to address the physical, social, and emotional needs of young people up to the age of 25, who spend time in the Melbourne CBD or who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Some of the services also work with young people across the whole of Melbourne and Victoria.

Frontyard seeks to provide young people with choices that contribute to their health and wellbeing, and where possible, return them to their community of origin.

Most services are drop-in so no appointment is necessary.

HEF Fund

HEF FUND is one off funding which can be provided to young people under 25 (same sex attracted or sex/gender diverse) experiencing or at risk of homelessness. The principal responsibility of HEF providers is to assist this group to secure crisis accommodation, longer-term accommodation or maintain current housing. The HEF Fund is available through the Family Access Network, it is a service offered as well as accommodation. Click the link at the begining of this post for more information.
