An Invitation to “Love Stories” by Y-GLAM

An old man remembers love on a train

Knives and forks make whoopy when no one is looking

This year Y-GLAM has created five short films about love.  Using drawing, cut out, digital 2D and stop motion animation we have made five films that are beautiful, funny and poignant. In this, we want to reach queer, young people through the Internet on what matters most – love.

Wow what a year it has been!!

Now it’s time to have a big party!

We have decided to have a joint christmas and birthday party.

We would like to invite you and whomever else you wish to bring whether its that special someone, your bestfriend or even your supportive parents.

This is a chance to celebrate the great first year that we have and be thankful to all those people that have supported and encouraged us.

We would love it if you could bring a plate of your favourite cooked (or cold) meal to share with us as we are having a sit down meal. Desserts are most welcome also of course!!!

If you wish to be part of the KK you can bring a unigendered gift of $5 or under. We will be putting them all  in a big chrismas stocking and jut having a lucky dip for a bit of fun.

Cant wait to see you all there! At 225 Bourke Street, Level 10 from 5pm till 10pm!

Wednesday 14th – Introduction Evening

So it’s time again to gather and welcome all of the lovely newcomers to Ygender!!

Be sure to lock in Wednesday the 14th of December, 6:30pm – 9:30pm.

The aim of this gathering is fairly self-explanatory, but what we hope to achieve is:

– To provide a relaxed and supportive space/ event where people can meet and chat casually about the things that interest them (not necessarily gender, even though this may be a common thread).

– No expectations – meaning if you want to become involved with Ygender, we’ll give you information to participate. However, if you simply wish to network and meet new people – this is a great place to start!

– ALL gender identities are welcome and supported.. (Genderqueer, gender-questioning, transmasculine, transfeminine, ftm, mtf, intersex, and anyone else under the beautifully diverse sex + gender umbrella).

WHERE: Thousand Pound Bend

Wednesday 14th December – Federation Square – outside 7-Eleven near accessible ramp. Directly across from Flinders Street Station. Meet here between 6:15 – 6:30pm.
