Wednesday 14th – Introduction Evening
So it’s time again to gather and welcome all of the lovely newcomers to Ygender!!
Be sure to lock in Wednesday the 14th of December, 6:30pm – 9:30pm.
The aim of this gathering is fairly self-explanatory, but what we hope to achieve is:
- To provide a relaxed and supportive space/ event where people can meet and chat casually about the things that interest them (not necessarily gender, even though this may be a common thread).
- No expectations – meaning if you want to become involved with Ygender, we’ll give you information to participate. However, if you simply wish to network and meet new people – this is a great place to start!
- ALL gender identities are welcome and supported.. (Genderqueer, gender-questioning, transmasculine, transfeminine, ftm, mtf, intersex, and anyone else under the beautifully diverse sex + gender umbrella).
WHERE: Thousand Pound Bend
MEET + WHEN:
Wednesday 14th December – Federation Square – outside 7-Eleven near accessible ramp. Directly across from Flinders Street Station. Meet here between 6:15 – 6:30pm.
Thousand Pound Bend has two gender-neutral/ gender non-specific toilets.
ALSO… check out ToilArt for more gender-neutral toilets around Melbourne.
